Alwoodley Golf Club

Founded: 1907

Reason to visit: Alwoodley Golf Club  is regarded as one of Britain’s finest inland courses and was designed by the great Dr Alister MacKenzie.

Sand Moor Golf Club

Founded: 1926

Bar / Restaurant: Sand Moor Clubhouse

Reason to visit: Sand Moor Golf Club is perhaps better known for its four challenging par 3's - each of which were originally designed by Alister MacKenzie. Each par 3 varies in length, style and offers a different challenge.

Moor Allerton Golf Club

Founded: 1923

Number of holes: 27 hole

Bar / Restaurant: Blackmoor Dining Room

Reason to visit: Robert Trent Jones Sr designed the golf course to sit beautifully within the surrounding West Yorkshire landscape.

 

Scarcroft Golf Club

Founded: 1937

Number of holes: 18 hole

Bar / Restaurant: The Blackburn Lounge, The Trophy Lounge, Viking Bar and The Snooker Room

Reason to visit: Scacroft Golf Clubs offers a great welcome to all new members and a great course to test your golfing skills.

Leadbetter Golf Academy

Founded: 1993

Reason to visit: The Leadbetter Golf Academy is the UK headquarters and offers world-class golf instruction.

Moortown Golf Club

Founded: 1909

Bar / Restaurant: Mackenzie Bar

Reason to visit: The Moortown Golf Club is well-known around the World as the host of the first Ryder Cup match on British soil.

 

Roundhay Golf Club

Founded: 1922

Number of holes: 9 hole

Bar / Restaurant: The Bar on Park Lane

Reason to visit: Roundhay Golf Club is a classic nine hole course in mature wooded parkland.

Headingley Golf Club

Founded: 1892

Reason to visit: Headingley is the oldest golf club in Leeds.
